I have been thrown a new phrase by one of my friends, after listening to her discuss issues with her sister she claimed that her sister was "Harshing My Mellow". Hmm, okay so that cannot be a good thing. Exactly how does one "Harsh your mellow"?  I suppose it happens when another person "Bums you out". I remember the "You Bum Me out" t-shirts that my parents friends had in the 80's and am supposing that harshing a person's mellow is similar to bumming them out.

Either way this cannot be positive.  It reminds me of something out of a Cheech and Chong movie and I cannot help but giggle inside each time I hear these types of phrases.  I suppose that there are occasions when my dogs do this to me. It usually happens when they try to eat the cat (no wonder he hides under lamp shades). 

How does my garden grow? It is growing absolutely beautifully and I have a great assortment of summer veggies coming in. I am so very proud of the little garden that I started this spring. Having never gardened before and having been the killer of many house plants this has been a labor of love. I was very worried that nothing would grow at all. Boy was I wrong! Everyday when I go out to check on my garden and see if it needs tending I am being surprised with new summer squash, green peppers, and jalapeno peppers as well as fragrant herbs and gorgeous tomatoes.  So what is next? Well I am hoping to plant some pumpkins in time for the fall as well as maybe some other types of fall squashes and such. I simply cannot wait for my first tomato to be ready and my strawberries to start coming in. Next year I plan to make my garden even bigger!

I have some very exceptional friends who enjoy my darker naughtier side. I am very happy today that my new site has launched.  It has been a lot of work on the part of my web team and myself but it is finally here. I really do hope that everyone enjoys the new version as much as I do.  With this version there will be more active features such as web cam capability that was not easily used before. I will begin posting my availability for web cam sessions on my calendar very soon. You must however be a registered user to see my calendar and web cam.
